Information on Obtaining Standing Orders

  • Standing orders allow you to provide Plan BŪ for teens, women without ID, or women who need a prescription for insurance coverage.

New research has shown that EC is effective up to 5 days (120 hours) after unprotected sex. However, some materials still say that EC should be used within 3 days (72 hours) of unprotected sex which is based on older research and the FDA-approved labeling.
