Information on EC Pharmacy Access
As part of the emergency contraception (EC) law in Massachusetts, specially trained pharmacists will be able to dispense EC to women of all ages through an agreement with a physician.
Specially trained pharmacists can provide EC to women who do not qualify for over-the-counter access, including:
- Women under 18 years old
- Women without ID
- Women who need a prescription for insurance coverage
